  • Step 7: After submitting Form 49A online, the acknowledgment form and the relevant papers must be couriered to the NSDL PAN office within 15 days.
  • Step 8: The card is created following the NSDL PAN verification and the acknowledgment form is couriered to the NSDL office for PAN no. verification. Within 15 days, the customer’s address listed on the form will get the physical PAN card.

Use the UTIITSL Portal to apply for a PAN card online by following these steps:

Step 1: Go to the PAN card application page for UTIITSL.
Choose the “PAN Card for Indian Citizen/NRI” option under PAN Services on the UTIITSL website.

Step 2: Select the manner of application

Step 6: Payment confirmation: After a successful payment, print or save a copy of the payment confirmation for your records.

Step 7: Sign the form and attach the images.
Print the document, attach two 3.5 x 2.5 cm passport-sized photos, and sign it in the designated area.

Step 8: Submit with supporting documentation attached
Please affix copies of your evidence of identification, residence, and date of birth to the completed application form. To apply for a new PAN card, submit these papers online or by mail to the UTIITSL office that is closest to you.

How can I apply offline for a PAN card?

Step 1: Go to https://www.tin-sdl.com/downloads/pan/download/Form_49A.PDF to download and print Form 49A.
